Hawzah News Agency- The statement noted that "this year's Ashura commemorations witnessed broad participation from mourners and visitors arriving from inside and outside Iraq," emphasizing that "the commemorations, which continued around the clock (24) hours a day inside the Holy Husayni Shrine, proceeded smoothly, while the Tuwairij Run mourning procession was exceptionally well organized, with no cases of stampedes or suffocation recorded despite the significant rise in temperatures''.
The General Secretariat concluded its statement by extending "its highest appreciation, gratitude, and thanks to all those who contributed to the success of the pilgrimage commemorations, foremost among them the administrations of the Imam Hussain and Al-Abbas Holy Shrines, the federal government, the local government, ministries and service departments, security forces of all branches, Husayni mourning processions, media organizations, volunteers, and visitors, in recognition of their significant efforts in ensuring the success of the Ashura commemorations''.
